Mint- Matcha Banana Smoothies

A lovely cold green tea smoothie, loaded with nutrition and just a touch of caffeine.  It's a perfect addition to your morning beverage arsenal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. fresh mint leaves (about 1 package)
  • 1 heaping tsp. matcha green tea
  • 3 c. frozen ripe bananas
  • 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 Tbsp date paste, or 1 pitted medjool date
  • 1 c. plant milk (hemp, almond, oat, rice, soy, cashew)
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 handfuls spinach

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender add all of the ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
